Feed the Fire

"Feed the fire" has been the theme of our girls' club this season. In his letter to the Christians in Rome Paul puts it this way: "Never be lacking in zeal" (Romans 12:11). If we want the fire in our hearts to burn hot, we are going to have to feed it. This Sunday, with some help from the GEMS, we will explore just how to do that. The bunny conspiracy

Tomorrow is Easter Sunday. It's the day we celebrate Jesus' resurrection. But somehow, the message of life after death gets lost among the easter eggs. The bunny conspiracy is just one of many cover-ups that attempt to distract us from the big news of Easter - that Jesus is alive! Enjoy your chocolate, but don't forget to celebrate Easter with other believers tomorrow. Our service is at 10 a.m. and we'd love to have you join us.

Journey to the cross

We have followed Jesus on his
via dolorosa - his way of suffering, or grief. That journey leads us to the cross. How has the story impacted you as you listened and watched; what is your story? Because of God's love, our story is enfolded in Jesus' story. That is our comfort and our assurance. Join us on Good Friday at 10 a.m. to share in Jesus' story.

What happened when Jesus died?

What happens when we die? We can address that question on all kinds of levels - physical, clinical, emotional, spiritual. Jesus' death too, can be examined in each of these ways. But when he died, there was a cosmic impact that changed EVERYTHING. Join us this Sunday, Apr 24, 10 a.m., to explore the mystery of the impact of Jesus' death.

On vacation...

I'm on vacation, so I really don't know what is planned for tomorrow's service. That's probably a good thing,right? We have a guest pastor lined up - Rev John Verhoog from Exeter. God's blessings as you worship him in Lucknow and I do the same in Florida - where it is plus 30 degrees and sunny with a lovely breeze and a great pool and..... all the rest.
