Most of us (I think!)have run out of gas at some point in our driving history. Many of us will also find ourselves running on empty when difficult and tragic circumstances take over our lives. Last Sunday we were reminded of that again when a car accident took the life of a dearly loved father, brother and husband. The story of Ruth in the Bible also tells the story of emptiness. But God takes her life and fills it once again with hope and happiness. We live and die in the comfort of knowing that, body and soul, we belong to our faithful Saviour, Jesus Christ. Running on empty
