Francis Chan, in his book Crazy Love, says that "if life is a river, then pursuing Christ requires swimming upstream. When we stop swimming, or actively following Him, we automatically begin to be swept downstream" (95). Too many of us are floating downstream, oblivious to what might await us around the next bend. Around the next bend
