Jesus came to earth. During the years he walked on this earth, he saw a lot of things – things that would have made him smile, but also things that made him cry. As he hung on the cross, Jesus saw his mother. When he saw her, he acted, speaking words that would ensure her future was secure. He offers that same certainty to us, having conquered sin and death.
