At first I wasn't so sure, but after saying it aloud a few times, ya, I think "Holy community" might have worked as one of Robin's exclamations. Try it-- "holy community, Batman!" [did you ever notice how Batman was really Robin's mentor, dispensing all kinds of fatherly advice to the young lad? check out some of their dialogue on line and you'll get a good laugh. But I digress...]. We get a little nervous claiming to be a holy community. But when we are in Christ, the true vine, we will bear much fruit. Yes, we really are a holy community. This Sunday, Jan 17, we look at the 7th and final of Jesus' 'I AM' statements. ps there's a potluck lunch after the service. Bring something if you like, but do join us.
