When Jesus suddenly shows up in the middle of the room, after he came back from the dead, the disciples were "startled and frightened, thinking they saw a ghost" (Luke 24:37). Jesus sets their troubles aside and quiets their doubts. He does the same for us. Afraid of ghosts? Not when we have Jesus! When Jesus suddenly shows up in the middle of the room, after he came back from the dead, the disciples were "startled and frightened, thinking they saw a ghost" (Luke 24:37).
